Hope for real reform?

There is finally real potential for health care reform. With the election of Barack Obama and now his appointment of former Senator Tom Daschle to head Health and Human Services and the announcement of Hilda Solis to head the Labor Dept, real reform may be on the way.

I Thought I Had a Comprehensive Health Care Plan :-(

Had a bad reflux attack on a Thursday, called my plan to try to see my Dr, he's booked solid. So I wind up going to ER for the reflux. They give me an RX that settles my stomach for a little bit, it flares up again, try to call my Dr again, still cannot see him, wind up in urgent care. This time another Dr gives me an Rx for Protonix.

Denied appropriate care

I am two months away from health insurance eligability. I have a family of 5. We have multiple chronic health conditions in our family and cannot receive proper health care because I alone make $1000 a week, but no health insurance. I have a "mystery" illness left undiagnosed due to the type of treatment I have been recieving through the county health department.
