Healthcare reform needed: Bizarre situation unfolding in Allegheny County PA --

My mother Merle Kuznik, who is an 89 year-old, partially paralyzed stroke survivor, is being threatened with JAIL for contempt of court because she has not sent in enough documentation on a Medicaid application to satisfy the nursing home she recently left.

I drove my 54-year old husband to the ER on a Saturday. He had extreme chest pain, an ashen complexion, and couldn't make it up our back four steps without stopping to rest. When we got there, he was put in a bed, and the doctor hooked him up to an EKG/heart monitor.
