My wife had severe swelling in her legs, hands, and feet. We took her into a walk-in clinic because we wanted to see a doctor right away with no appointment. We did not know it, but the clinic mostly served medicare patients.

My Daughter Could Only Get Medicaid When She got Pregnant

I have health insurance and for the most part it's pretty good (lousy dental, though), but my daughter hasn't been on it since she turned 19 as she was not a full time student. She had a baby at 21 but was told she couldn't get Medicaid or other services because she wouldn't "co-operate" with taking her baby's father to court.
